I always seem to have mixed feelings about this holiday. On the one hand, I like the idea of an entire month where people aren't dicks to one another (minus black friday), and there's a sense of peace in the air. On the other hand, I'm not Christian and wouldn't want to go to church to listen to someone preach something I find contradictory to what I believe.
So! I have a Pros and Cons of Christmas list!
Pros:
receiving gifts
people are generally nicer
EVERYTHING IS ON SALE
Cons:
sense of awkwardness
buying gifts (if you have a lot of friends...)
EVERYTHING IS OUT OF STOCK
That being said, I do plan on getting gifts for a few people. I mostly plan on making things, but I'll still need to get materials. D:
In other news, I've got a mini presentation tomorrow, a presentation and paper due on Thursday, potentially a Japanese final written exam on Friday, and oral exam next Wednesday.
